Students at PASCAL Education Larnaka benefit from studying on a modern, purpose-built campus in an area of 60,000 sqm in Aradippou.
The school offers 35 classrooms, specialist computer and science labs, art rooms and a library with more than 10,000 volumes. An amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 400 is often used for bringing students and families together, and a wide range of sports are enjoyed here, including futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, tennis, and an outdoor heated swimming pool.
Students at Pascal Education Larnaka follow an English National Curriculum Pre-School and Primary education through to the IBDP two-year programme. The Secondary school follows a combination of National and International curricula, as well as the IB Diploma Programme.
The home-school relationship is key to the culture of the school, as is a focus on positive behaviour and a caring environment that celebrates individuality and respect for all. Students have access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities. During their time at the school, all students belong to a House – Apollo, Artemis, Demetra or Poseidon and collect House Points and enjoy House events. The school´s Athletics team participates in national and international tournaments. A local bus company provides private transport between home and school.
PASCAL Private Kindergarten includes Pre-Reception and Reception and children can start here from the age of 4 years and six months until 5 years and 11 months. Children work towards early learning goals through a structured programme of rich learning experiences, based on seven areas of learning and development.
PASCAL Private Primary School takes children from Ages 6 years to 12 years, and the school follows the Cambridge Primary Curriculum for core subjects of English, Maths and Science and, for foundation subjects, a combined English National Curriculum with some revisions to reflect Cypriot geographical and historical identity.
PASCAL Private English School runs from Years 1 to 6 (Years 7 to 12 of the UK educational system) with students following the English National Curriculum and a rich variety of subjects. All subjects are taught in English, other than Greek Language, Classical Appreciation and Religious Knowledge which are only taught to Greek native-speaking students. In Years 5 and 6 students may take the GCE AS and A-Level examinations or the IBDP.
